The following contractors include those that residents of Cabots Point  have had good results using.  The list does not constitute endorsement by Cabots Point Cluster or its residents.  Residents should do their own due diligence.

DECK REPAIR/REPLACEMENT

  • General contractor/Handyman: Rubin Chavez (571-314-8268) He redid a bathroom for #2127, replaced counter tops in the kitchen, rebuilt the dock – all well done and all reasonably priced. Also replaced decking at #2131 and #2133. Work well done
  • General Contractor—Aaron Surman; [Aaron is Bill Brindley’s Son in Law] Namrus Contracting LLC 301-219-1047—Siding repair and deck repair and replacement.

BOAT / DOCK REPAIR

  • For boats: Travis Smirnow – (703-405-6081).   Backyard Boats is no longer in business since the owner passed away.  Travis (one of two sons) is now working independently.  Best reached through text to this number.
  • For boat canvas: John Gregal – Mt. Vernon Canvas (703-360-5195) he does all canvas work from repairs to making new covers.
